Shane Parker was admitted to hospital in Warwickshire early on Saturday morning after feeling unwell.

His present condition is unrelated to injuries he sustained in a crash at Berwick in early May, but may be related to the chest condition he suffered whilst back home in Australia during the Winter.

Extensive tests are currently being carried out in hospital and a further report will be issued on this website when the results of the tests are known.

The Promoters of Glasgow Speedway request that Angie Parker be given some privacy in what is an extremely difficult time for the Parker family.
