Injury & Illness Affect Team

Injury and illness is set to wreck the A-Plant Tigers hopes of picking up points on the most crucial of weekends with no less than three riders ruled out for tonight’s trip to Scunthorpe and at least one out for the whole weekend.

Christian Henry is the rider ruled out for about a fortnight after an x-ray confirmed that the crash he had at Ashfield against Ipswich a fortnight ago has resulted in a cracked bone in his back and he is set to miss out for around two weeks, although further examinations will be required.

For tonight’s trip to Scunthorpe, both Joe Screen and James Grieves are in their beds suffering from illness, as they have been for several days. It is unclear how they are progressing in terms of racing the rest of the weekend although both must be considered doubtful for both further meetings.

Jordan Frampton and Kozza Smith will take the places of Screen and Grieves respectively and rider replacement will be in operation for Henry.
