Almost There!!

It was built up as a grudge fixture as the two Tigers went head to head, with 1st in the league v 2nd in the league. Suffice to say the A-Plant Tigers took maximum points and, in tennis parlance, have moved to match point in the race for the Premier League title. Now 9 points clear, there is no certainty that either Sheffield or Workington will get to the current 77 points that the Tigers have achieved but nevertheless the team will head to Scunthorpe on Friday looking for another away win.

After that fixture all eyes will turn to the KO Cup, and the final with Newport on Saturday and Sunday. But let’s bask in the glory of the grudge fixture victory for the good Tigers!
