PATRICK Hougaard lives his life in the fast lane but even Belle Vue’s rapidly rising star will run out of time this weekend.

First Poole team boss Neil Middleditch lodged a protest to referee Jim Lawrence over the legality of Doolan’s signing.

Ostergaard back for Aces

ULRICH Ostergaard will bounce back for Belle Vue’s vital Knockout Cup tie against Poole at Kirkmanshulme Lane tonight after a high-speed recovery from a hand injury.

The Dane hit his best form of the season with 12 points against Eastbourne a fortnight ago but was then told he would be out for a month after a thumping crash.

Ostergaard was put in plaster but has told One51 Aces team boss Chris Morton he will be fit to return after missing just two matches.
