3rd Feb The “Evening Star” Witches promotion have released the 2009 Fixtures—further details on the main site.

25th Jan “Evening Star” Witches fans are reminded that the last chance to purchase Season Tickets at the discounted price is this Saturday - Jan 31st between 10am and 1pm from the Stadium.

Season tickets will also remain at 2008 rates:
Adults £300 (rising to £325 if purchased after 31st January 2009)
Concessions £240 (rising to £265 if purchased after 31st January 2009)
Season ticket holders will receive a free programme (worth £2 per meeting) Season ticket holders will also gain free membership to the Supporters Club (worth £5), which also allows them a discount at certain local outlets and discounts on most coach travel organised by the Supporters Club plus discount for the End of Season Dinner/Dance.

This gives a massive £113 saving for season ticket holders over a minimum 24 meeting season if purchased before the end of January 2009.

3rd Dec Ipswich Speedway would like to offer new Peterborough boss Rick Frost and his Management Team an apology regarding the timing of the announcement made referring to the signing of Peterborough asset Piotr Swiderski.

19th Dec The Evening Star Ipswich Witches are pleased to announce five further members of their squad for 2009. They are Jarek Hampel, Tobi Kroner, Leigh Lanham, Dawid Stachyra and Darcy Ward.

2nd Dec The “Evening Star” Witches are delighted to announce that Piotr Swiderski has agreed terms and will ride for the Witches in 2009. The club also welcome back Danny King who spent last season riding for
Peterborough. These two are the first confirmed riders for the 2009 season.
