Dane Anders Andersen has managed to find himself a berth in the Premier League even at this late stage as he signs up on loan at Berwick. Andersen will take over from the still not fit Nick Simmons, who has failed to recover from injury.
Anders was very unfortunate not to find a place in the Glasgow side, but missed out when the final part of the team was put together. He is now getting his chance to put behind him the injury problem of last season that saw him lose his place when suffering a broken leg. He starts the new season on a 3.74 average although at the time of his injury that figure read a very impressive 5.00.
