Leading Swedish toolmaker Teng Tools has teamed up with the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series as title sponsor of the Teng Tools Swedish SGP, as well as event partner for the Stockholm and Cardiff rounds.
Manufacturers of over 3,000 tools, which are sold in more than 30 countries, Teng Tools are already very well known to speedway riders throughout the world, with their tools featuring prominently in the SGP pits.
They already have partnerships with double world champion Tai Woffinden, Aussie ace Jason Doyle, Slovak sensation Martin Vaculik, Danish champion Niels-Kristian Iversen and Swedish star Freddie Lindgren.
Teng Tools will now take an even greater role in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series as Teng Tools Swedish SGP title sponsor on August 12, as well as Stockholm SGP and Adrian Flux British SGP event partner.
The move comes as part of a wider collaboration with IMG Motorsports, which also sees them become official tool partner for the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Claes Nilsson, managing director of Teng Tools UK explained: “For Teng Tools it is important to have close co-operation with riders, drivers and mechanics. This new, wider co-operation with IMG will help us reach a much broader market with our message.”
BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen said: “We are delighted to welcome such a prestigious brand as Teng Tools to the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series.
“With one of the most closely competitive seasons to date coming in 2017, we hope that Teng Tools enjoy the excitement as it unfolds and look forward to working with them throughout the season.”
